Defaults use Stripe's U.S. standard pricing reviewed July 23, 2026. Custom contracts and non-U.S. accounts can differ.

Some platforms include buyer tax in the processing or fee base.
We calculate the sale price needed to reach this profit.
Updated by the payment method. Edit only if your Stripe pricing differs.
ACH Direct Debit is capped at $5. The high default means no cap for card methods.

Transparent by design

Current U.S. Stripe assumptions

Stripe charges the payment method rate on the full amount processed. The balance after fee still contains collected tax; the next result removes that tax liability.

  • Online domestic cards use 2.9% plus $0.30 per successful transaction.
  • Manually entered cards add 0.5%; international cards add 1.5%, and currency conversion can add another 1%.
  • Terminal domestic cards use 2.7% plus $0.05; ACH Direct Debit uses 0.8% capped at $5.
  • Rates are standard U.S. pricing. Negotiated and country-specific pricing can differ.
