The calculator applies the selected rate to the full amount processed, including buyer-paid shipping and tax entered in the payment.

Square Free in-person card payments use 2.6% plus $0.15.
Square Free online and invoice card payments use 3.3% plus $0.30; Online API payments use 2.9% plus $0.30.
Manual entry and card-on-file payments use 3.5% plus $0.15; Afterpay uses 6% plus $0.30.
Square Plus and Premium have different rates for some methods. Accounts processing over $250,000 per year may qualify for custom pricing.
