Current U.S. Amazon assumptions

Referral fees use item price plus buyer-paid shipping, while FBA fulfillment depends on Amazon's measured size tier and shipping weight.

  • Most categories use a 15% referral fee with a $0.30 minimum, but category schedules vary.
  • Displayed non-apparel fulfillment choices use Amazon's official 2026 U.S. schedule; apparel and Low-Price FBA differ.
  • A 3.5% fuel and logistics surcharge applies to the FBA fulfillment fee from April 17, 2026.
  • Standard-size storage is $0.78 per cubic foot January through September and $2.40 October through December; allocate it per unit in the input.
  • Professional is $39.99 per month and must be allocated per unit; Individual is $0.99 per item. Inbound placement and other inventory fees vary by shipment and inventory behavior.
