This policy explains how Marketplace Math processes information when you use this website or contact us. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to hello@marketplacemath.com.
Calculator data stays on your device
Fee and profit calculations run locally in the visitor's browser. We do not receive or store the sale prices, item costs, shipping costs, tax amounts, target profits, or other values entered into a calculator unless a visitor separately includes them in an email.
Information collected automatically
Our hosting, security, and analytics providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, approximate location, referring page, requested URL, timestamp, performance data, and security events. Cloudflare provides hosting, DNS, traffic protection, email routing, and privacy-focused web analytics.
How information is used
Technical and contact information is used to deliver and secure the site, diagnose errors, measure aggregate use, answer inquiries, investigate corrections, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, and improve calculators and guides. We do not use calculator inputs for profiling because those inputs are not transmitted to us.
Email and information you provide
If you contact hello@marketplacemath.com, we receive the address, message, and attachments you choose to send. Do not email passwords, payment-card details, tax IDs, marketplace credentials, or sensitive transaction records.
Cookies and local storage
The core calculators require no account and do not need an advertising cookie. Cloudflare may use essential technologies to deliver and protect the site. If advertising, consent management, or additional analytics are introduced, this policy and any legally required consent or opt-out controls will be updated before activation.
Service providers and disclosures
Limited information may be processed by providers that host, secure, route email for, analyze, or operate the site. We may also disclose information when required by law, during a business reorganization, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, rights, property, or service security. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.
Advertising, affiliates, and sale or sharing
The site may later display clearly labeled advertising or affiliate links. Marketplace Math does not currently sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. If that changes, this policy and legally required controls, including support for applicable opt-out signals, will be implemented before the change.
Retention and security
Technical logs and email are kept only as long as reasonably needed for security, operations, inquiries, records, disputes, and legal obligations. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.
Your privacy choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, or a copy of personal information you directly provided, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. You may also block nonessential browser storage and use supported privacy signals. Email a request from an address we can reasonably verify; legal exceptions may apply.
Children
The service is intended for a general business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
International use, external links, and changes
The site is U.S.-focused but may be accessed elsewhere. Information can be processed in the United States and other provider locations. External sites have their own privacy practices. We may update this policy as the service, providers, or law changes; the effective date above identifies the current version.
