Current Reverb fee assumptions
The calculator follows the official fee bases for a standard Reverb Payments order and keeps optional charges visible.
- The 5% selling fee uses item price plus buyer-paid shipping. In USD it has a $0.50 minimum and $500 maximum.
- Payment processing uses item price, buyer-paid shipping, and buyer sales tax. Standard Reverb Payments is 3.19% plus $0.49; Preferred Seller processing is 2.99% plus $0.49.
- The calculator excludes buyer sales tax from seller revenue even though Reverb includes it in the processing-fee base.
- Return on direct costs equals profit divided by item cost, your actual shipping cost, and packaging or other entered costs. Modeled Reverb fees reduce profit but are not included again in this denominator.
- Reverb states that an eligible Reverb Payments order has an extra 1% cross-border fee, but the cited page does not define its calculation base. Enter the exact dollar fee from the order rather than inferring it.
- Bump is optional and uses the rate you enter. Currency conversion, PayPal processing, VAT on fees, Reverb labels, returns, and account adjustments require separate review.
