Current GOAT fee assumptions
GOAT deducts commission and a location-based seller fee from the listing price, then may charge a percentage when earnings are cashed out.
- The standard commission for a seller rating of 90 or above is 9.5% in the United States and 12.4% in Canada. Lower ratings use the official higher tiers shown in the selector.
- The commission and fixed seller fee are deducted from the listing price. Buyer-paid shipping, taxes, and duties are not added to this calculator's commission base.
- The default $5 seller fee matches U.S. and Canadian prepaid shipping. Eligible drop-off is $0, while other official location fees range higher and should be entered directly.
- The U.S. default 2.9% cash-out fee is applied to earnings remaining after commission and the seller fee. GOAT's newer Fee Policy and older support article are inconsistent about Canada, so Canadian presets use 0 until the seller enters the account-shown rate.
- Cash out normally requires more than $25 in total earnings. Inactive-account maintenance fees and cancellation-related rating changes are separate.
