Describe the OfferUp sale

Defaults reflect OfferUp's local-only marketplace policy reviewed August 16, 2026. Nationwide shipping ended in 2025, and paid feature prices are shown in the app before purchase.

Include mileage, transit, delivery, or other costs you pay to complete the local exchange.
Enter the exact upfront price shown in your OfferUp app. Marketplace Math does not preset an account-specific price.
OfferUp is not the payment processor for local exchanges. Add only a cost charged by the payment method you actually use.
We calculate the lowest agreed sale price needed to reach this profit.

Current OfferUp local-sale assumptions

OfferUp returned to a local-only marketplace after ending nationwide shipping. The calculator separates the platform's current zero commission from optional costs a seller may still choose or incur.

  • OfferUp says it does not charge fees or take a commission from in-person transactions.
  • Nationwide shipping stopped for new listings on September 23, 2025 and was removed from eligible existing listings on October 21, 2025.
  • Promotions, additional listings, subscriptions, jobs, services, and business products can cost money, but OfferUp displays applicable pricing before purchase and some prices are account-specific.
  • Local payment is arranged directly between buyer and seller, so any payment-method charge must be entered from the provider actually used.
  • Buyer-paid sales tax and buyer shipping are not modeled because this calculator is for a direct local exchange.
