Meta's merchant policy separates Individual Sellers using onsite checkout from local transactions and Shop Sellers.
- Individual Sellers using Meta checkout pay 5% of the entire transaction, with a $0.40 minimum.
- The official fee base includes item price, buyer-paid shipping, and applicable taxes.
- The local-pickup preset models no Meta checkout fee because payment occurs directly between buyer and seller.
- Shop Seller processing charges are not preset because Meta says Meta or the connected commerce platform may charge them.
