A listing fee model you can audit
Listing costs are separated from sale-based charges and direct seller costs.
- Total listing fees equal the entered fee per event multiplied by initial listings plus charged renewals or relists.
- Listing fees remain a cost even when sale price is $0 because some platforms charge when a listing is created or renewed, whether or not it sells.
- Net payout here means sale price minus listing fees only; profit also subtracts the item and other costs entered.
- The target price adds listing fees and other modeled costs to target profit because this calculator does not apply an inferred percentage fee.
- Verify free allowances, category rules, renewals, taxes, credits, and the current fee in the official policy or your account statement.
