- General campaigns charge only when the promoted item sells within 30 days of a qualifying click while it is promoted at click and sale.
- The ad fee equals the seller-selected rate times total sale amount, including item price, shipping, taxes, and other applicable amounts.
- eBay currently permits a General ad rate from 2% to 100%; the calculator never supplies a claimed optimal rate.
- Priority campaigns charge for valid clicks under a second-price auction and require actual click costs from the campaign report.
