Payment processing is separate. A U.S. domestic payment for a seller onboarded with Stripe currently uses 3.49% plus $0.49. International payments and non-onboarded sellers can pay more.
The $120 commission threshold
A sale just below $120 uses the reduced tier, while a sale at or above $120 uses 9%. This creates a discontinuity that should be checked before accepting an offer. The $1.99 minimum also matters on very low-price orders.

Shipping can enter the commission base
When a seller uses a Grailed Label, the commission base is the listing price. When the seller does not use a Grailed Label, shipping charged to the buyer is also included in the sale price used for commission.
Processing is not the commission
Add the commission and payment processing instead of treating either as the full fee. Then subtract item cost, shipping expense, and packaging to calculate real profit. A payout can look healthy while ROI remains weak.
Verify Stripe onboarding status
Grailed lists higher fixed and percentage processing charges for eligible sellers who have not onboarded with Stripe. Confirm the payout setup before relying on the lower domestic default.
