Calculate current U.S. Depop payment processing and boosted-listing fees after the removal of the standard selling fee.

Calculate Depop fees

Depop no longer charges a standard selling fee to sellers based in the United States, United Kingdom, or Australia. That does not make a sale fee-free. U.S. sellers using Depop Payments currently pay 3.3% plus $0.45 for payment processing.

Boosted Listings can add a much larger charge. For new U.S. and U.K. listings from March 23, 2026, Depop lists a 12% boosting fee when the sale qualifies under the attribution policy.

The standard U.S. sale

For an unboosted U.S. listing, processing is the main platform deduction. Its base includes item price, shipping, and applicable tax. Inventory, seller-paid shipping, and packaging then reduce profit separately.

Boosting can change a good flip into a bad one

The 12% boost is charged on item price and, in some cases, charged shipping. Test both boosted and unboosted outcomes before opting in. The extra exposure is valuable only if it creates enough incremental sales or supports a higher price.

Low-price listings feel the $0.45 fee

On a $10 checkout, the fixed $0.45 alone is 4.5% before the percentage fee. Sellers of inexpensive items should consider bundles and minimum offer thresholds to avoid giving away the margin.

Location changes the rule

Sellers outside the U.S., U.K., and Australia can face a 10% selling fee and different payment processing. Do not apply the U.S. calculator to another country without changing the formula.
