Mercari's current U.S. structure took effect January 6, 2025 for new and updated listings.
- The selling fee is 10% of item price plus buyer-paid shipping.
- No separate payment processing fee is modeled.
- Buyer-paid tax is excluded from the seller fee base.
- For planning, monetary inputs and the selling fee are rounded to cents before payout and profit; the actual statement controls rounding.
